The Kempen is a nature reserve of around 2,000 hectares! It runs from Eindhoven all the way to the Belgian border, providing a diversity of nature. You will find several beautiful moors and forests.
Each area has its own charms, be it the Cartierheide, the Malpie or the Plateaux. Hiking or cycling through this nature gives a wonderful sense of tranquillity. Near these areas is often a nice restaurant to take a rest, after which you can continue your path full of energy. If you look carefully during a walk or cycle trip in the Kempen, you might even spot a roe deer!
The Kempen moors are often characterised by their beautiful colours and vast vistas. Not for nothing that many Dutch tourists also flock here!
